Ideal Green

Ideal Green

 Seattle, Washington, USA

From the land of tall cedars and silver lined skies, Seattle grounds the original melodic roots of Ideal Green - a rhythmic band blended and stirred together with a fusion of reggae and island twist.

The ideal experience always begins with the divine heartbeat, complemented by vocal rebel harmonies, topped with tasteful solos and leads. Guiding in peace, cultural, social/political consciousness and global awareness, reveals the musical purpose of Ideal Green's destiny.
Originally formed as a ska band in 2006, they established their identity as Ideal Green. Each member contributes their individual style & cultural values, signifying multiple traditional ties with modern flavor & creativity. Ideal Green is musically derived from an upbringing including influences like Bob Marley and the Wailers, Steel Pulse, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Johnny Nash, Greggory Isaacs, Janet Kay, Groundation, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Midnite, Slightly Stoopid, The Skatalites and many more.
Ideal Green's appearances in openings, guest performances and showcases have spread numerously throughout the Northwest. They have played with up-and-coming bands such as: Upright Dup Orchestra, Georgetown Orbits, Natalie Wouldn't, Chris Murray, Harmonic Superkill, Higher Vibes, Little Big Man, Island Bound and Unified Culture. They have become a spotlight favorite at Seattle venues like Studio 7, The Ventral Sallon, ToST, Redline, Kai's and the Liberty City Theater. Ideal Green has also been honored to perform at many community and charity functions, private parties and company gatherings as well as UW, WSU, SU & SPU college events.
From the eldest roots to the sprouting seeds, Ideal Green seeks to voice harmony to all through the universal language of song. Like the roar, agility and dignified strength of the lion, Ideal Green invites you to unite as one and hear music with a message - a message of respect, peace and conscious wisdom to be carried through this generation in hope to build foundations of a legacy.
