Ideeyah

Powerful, timeless and versatile: the words that best describe singer, Ideeyah. Born in Detroit, Ideeyah began singing along to the TV as a toddler and writing her own songs at 6 years old. She is now singing in front of thousands and releasing her own music.

With a rock meets soul sound, Ideeyah (pronounced idea) will teach and entertain through music. She’s been the lead singer for the band, 1 OH 1 and group, Green T. Ideeyah has worked with Poet Jessica Care Moore, Joi, Monica Blaire and Amp Fiddler. She has also performed along with the collective, Black Women Rock since 2010.

In 2012, Ideeyah will release her solo debut, planet Earth. planet Earth will reintroduce listeners to honesty, empowerment and nobility. Her lyrics are written to share life experiences and encourage other to live beyond material things. The release is full of thoughtful lyrics and incredible sound.
