Building their sound around the incendiary guitar work that swirls in and out of each track, local boys Identified are a loud, melodic rock band that doesn't need a singer to be expressive.
With comparisons more apt to bands like Mogwai or Kyuss than fellow instrumentalists Explosions in the Sky, "I" is the soundtrack to tearing down your house. A dual guitar attack storms to the front of the powerful rhythm section, only to recede beautifully into melodies that are catchy without being cliché. - Newbury Comics

Bio
Identified is a Boston based instrumental rock four piece with a mountainous sound. The band grew out of a 2005 collaboration when Sonny DiPerri (drums) invitedJ Heasley and Zac McGowan (guitars) to play on a soundtrack for a local independent film. After completing work on the film, the three continued to write songs and added Chris Saint-Amant (bass) to round out the group.
Identified's debut album, "I" has everything you need: smashing guitars, lush melodies, screaming leads and hard-hitting rhythms. Blending the dirtiness of Dead Meadow with the textured sounds of Kinski, Identified has created a unique sound that you won't want to miss.
