Vick, Migui and Juan. IDIOTERNE. More than music. A common point of view understanding the life.
Punk in veins & Rock in muscles. The bands music is directly influenced by the hard sounds that exploded in the 90´s and punk-rock bands from the 70´s. These guys rock in an expressive and dynamic style, their great compositions are built over simple vocal melodies with an overwhelming rhythm.
Nearly Summer 2002, these three guys meet as if a mystic planets conjuction want it. The perfect square with only 3 sides. From the beginning they quickly proved it was easy to remain embedded in peoples minds even after listening to them for the first time and seeing their flashy performance on stage. In their first year they recorded 2 demos, performed in many shows and won the first place of a demo contest with over 600 participating bands, and gave them the possibility of playing in the internationally known festival Festimad, along artists like Marylin Manson or Audioslave. After this IDIOTERNE were invited as supporters to famous bands like Dover, Deluxe and German Die Happy, and they recorded another two demos.
Their meteoric ascent is interrupted by a Juan´s wrist harm. He retires from the stages for 8 months. Idioterne, far away from losing the faith, work hard and participates in Emergenza contest with a substitute drummer. There was no other way: Idioterne wins the Spanish Emergenza band contest in 2004 and gets the opportunity of offering their powerful show at the Taubertal Open Air Festival, with such big bands like The Darkness or Nightwish.
In Autumn 2004, Juan recovers the strength in his wrist and incorporates to the band. Some concerts are enough to grease the engine. Again, they win other band contest in Madrid performing for five thousand people and broadcasted through RNE (Spanish national radio station). Borders are not enough to stop them. September 2005. They flight to Berlin to participate in Popkomm festival, one of the most important music industry events in the world. Numerous rock magazines have pointed Idioterne as a big promise in punk rock, qualifying them as energetic, explosive, creative. In short: simply brilliant.
