Bio

Infectious music and charismatic personalities more than describe the Shreveport, LA based band IDLE of the Peach. This quartet takes their own brand of alternative music and fuses elements of Rock, Metal, Power Pop, Punk, Progressive, and even Hip Hop to garner attention from a wide variety of audiences, while their sociable characters and explosive stage presence make them a fan favorite every venue they play. Former Immortal Records recording artists Tyler Read called IDLE of the Peach “the next wave in sweet ‘A’ music”, once you take a listen…you’ll agree!
Playing shows all over Northeast Louisiana and East Texas, IDLE of the Peach is now branching out to other cities that are immersed in a rich musical heritage such as New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta just to name a few. Cities that are Indie Music friendly and college towns are also on the band’s radar. During scheduled touring breaks, IOTP will finish up recording new material. IDLE of the Peach is always working to satisfy our current fan base while earning the admiration on new fans.
Having fans seemed a far reach just 5 years ago when IDLE of the Peach was formed in a crapped living room in Shreveport, LA by Ari Butler and Jordan Washington. But guitar lessons, hard work, patience, perseverance, and the addition Mike Hitt and Dan Black made this band one of the most well known in Northern Louisiana. But this is only the beginning. IDLE of the Peach looks to continue to expand their fanbase not only by their “eargasmic” shows but by utilizing media and social networking in this digital age.
Most who have heard their music, including Reggae sensation Outlaw Nation, feel IDLE of the Peach is the future. Who would know better than the Stoopid Records recording artists? They have taken IOTP under than week and do shows throughout the South. Nothing is impossible including a major label album release. Oh the possibilities!!!
