Recently we finished recording a 2-song demo CD with producer Michael Beck (DreamTheater, HedShel, PhunkJunkeez) and released our first single "Questions" to KEDJ 103.9 fm. Since the release on Feburary 5th, "Questions" has aired on both KZGL 95.7 fm & KEDJ 103.9 fm and is curently streaming on www.theedge1039.com.

Idle Red is a 4-piece from Mesa, Arizona influenced by rock, jazz, and anything else creative and soulful. All members are young musicians, whose unique styles combine to create an original sound. The band was formed in July of 2002 by Chris Magnee and Steve Ayotte, and over the first year Idle Red went through many different changes. Chris “B” Bandusky joined the group late in the summer of 2003, and Bryce Fitzpatrick jumped on board early in 2004.
In a short span of time, Idle Red has had the pleasure of playing with such bands as Lit, Denver Harbor, My Chemical Romance, and Unwritten Law. As a band, we push towards reaching all the goals we set for ourselves and developing a fresh new sound. By incorporating our strong musical backgrounds with the usage of different musical styles, we hope to make music that people can really connect with. We love writing and performing, and only hope that people love our music as much as we love making it for them.
