Bio

The past year has been the hardest but most defining year for us as a band. Finishing our first full-length album has been the most difficult, seeing we wanted to make an awesome "ALBUM" where no song was considered "filler". Always looking for the "hook", some songs didn't make the cut, but as they say cream usually rises to the top. We also found out what it truly means to be "INDEPENDENT". Self-producing every cut on the album, traveling to promote, getting airplay on numerous commercial and college radio stations across the northeast, building a following outside our hometown, not to mention playing gigs to survive. We love everyone that comes to see us live, requests the tunes, and slaps our sticker on the walls anywhere from NYC to LA. "Get your songs right and the rest will follow." The music we make is heavy, groovy, but still musical(artsy). With tracks like "Weightless", "Perfectly", and "Gas Station Celebrity", we've created a sound for ourselves. There's still a darker side to songs like, "Mangelile", (man-ja-leel), and "California", and a more composition oriented side to tracks like "Angle" and "Black and White". But we still stay true to our roots on "Redefine". The album as a whole remains very moody, yet uncompromised. What you hear is what we are. Many people on the road have asked us what kind of music we play. It's probably one of the hardest questions to answer for us. The genre could be Alt/Rock but we tend to leave our horizons open. Countless times you look at the backs of club owners, get yelled at by soundmen, get ignored by bartenders, playing in front of an anxious crowd, only to have your hand shaken by every one telling you how awesome your show was, asking to see us again. That is the best way we can describe our show. The only way to get it, is to see for yourself. Every show we play is not only for the fans, but for the new people looking for something different, and we aren't stopping now.
