"From Mr. Electro-Clash"

" great songs. I really like this guy! - Larry Tee

"Remixes Press"

REMIXES

The journey through the galaxy continues with Screen Vinyl Image. The independent shoegaze/synth pop band released their "groovy" follow up CD "Remixes" in March 2010. This CD also has the heavy influence of Depeche Mode. Evidence of this is in the sixth track "Passing Through Mirrors." A futuristic sounding track about the stuggles of everyday life. people do not want to take a long, hard look at themselves. This track features slight hints of "robotic" vocals, and more relentless keyboard instrumentation. These features bring out the "gloomy" tone of the song.

Screen Vinyl Image creates more "hair raising" synth pop music.

-Leslie Snyde - Indie Rock Magazine

"Screen Vinyl Image - Remixes Press Sheet"

Screen Vinyl Image follow up their debut full length
“Interceptors” with a collection of remixes both by
the band and close friends. The remixes range from
stomping dance floor cuts for clubs to trippy dubbed-out
tracks perfect for headphone listening. Each track keeps
the bands signature shoegaze/psychedelic/electronic
mix that built up Interceptors praise throughout 2009
and found the band on many top 10 lists of the year.
Chaser is remixed by NYC’s Hypefactor and presents
a version of the first SVI single from Interceptors in a
light that recalls those classic Cure and Depeche Mode
12 inch singles. Until the End of Time is featured twice,
first in a hallucenagenic light by NYC’s Remarkably
Spry (Christo Buffman of The Vandelles) and on the
B-side by San Fransisco’s I.H.M.C. offering a more
classic electronic rendition of the song. What You
Need is given a pumping four on the floor rendition
by Paris’s TeengeSinTaste while Screen Vinyl Image
remix both Pasing Through Mirrors off their debut EP
The Midnight Sun and a droned out version of their
second big single from Interceptors, Cathode Ray. - Custom Made Music

Bio

Genre: Sheogaze/Electronic
Origin: San Francisco
My Space site: www.myspace.com/ihmcmusic

A new form rose from the ashes of The Drum & Bass Scene in Chicago, I.H.M.C. ( which stands for Intelligent Human Metaphysical Computer ). Once the monkier Photosphere, who produced deep atmospheric drum&bass, I.H.M.C. project was a wider aproach to music. Ranging from fusing electro/noise-pop/ebm/ and shoegaze, the scope of the music door is endless and now more then ever.

If you were to look up at the stars and hear a beautiful noise echoing, that music would be the sound of I.H.M.C.
