IIJ has been playing the Northeast since 1999, releasing our debut album independently in 2000 to much success. We won the first annual BEANTOWN MELTDOWN this year, and we just finished our follow-up album (to be released at the NEMO conference).
Every member of this band has strange and numerous influences (some that make sense and come through in our own compositions, some that don't, and some that remain dirty little secrets). The common thread seems to be "movie-music", songs that evoke feelings of character, movement, pathos and epic conflict...but often, at the same time, stuff you can tap your foot or bob your melon to.
All in all, IIJ...something you do not want to miss.
