We each have a story and believe that it is never to late to live your dream. There is freedom in our music because you are free to be you!

Langston Hughes was a writer, musician and poet who inspired our lead band musician on so many levels. Hughes wrote,"Hold fast to your dreams, for without them life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly."We are passionate about what we sing and the music we create.

We're not in this industry to say we've tried it, but we're here to say we did it...yet we know there is still more to come!

I-Khonz is set apart from other bands because our music is an infusion of other genres such as Classical, Opera, Hip-hop, Rock and R&B, which are categorized under World genre.

Although, I-Khonz the band itself was formed in June 2011, the artists are in the process of compiling their feature album, which is set to be released March 31, 2012. This past August 2011, we have performed at the Bull Frog in Redford, MI Andiamo Restaurant in Dearborn, MI. Other venues we have appeared at include Harry's Hideaway in Lima, OH,Trenton MI Scarecrow Festival, Making Strides Cancer Event in Ann Arbor, MI and Greek Town Casino Shotz Bar. Just recently; we performed at Greek Town Casino's Eclipz Bar.
