Ileen laura Bio Toronto, Canada – After studying classical piano performance at Brock University, Ileen Laura has spent the last year working on her first professional album titled "Mindful Conversations". She has toured Canada performing with major artists such as “Justin Nozuka” and “DB Clifford” in preparation for HER time in the spot light.

Ileen has been working and recording with producer Pete Wellington, also known as Saint Pete, the internationally known DJ and producer. She is fully devoted to her life as a professional musician, and as such, when she isn’t recording and performing, she spends her time teaching high school music at a school in Toronto. She credits her teaching career in helping to evolve her art, because she gets to perform music every day and get paid a decent living for it.

In terms of her music, Canadian Songstress Ileen Laura has a unique electronic sound that involves the violin and the piano. She uses a lot of harmonies in her songs, because she believes it takes the song to another level. She likes to think of her album as a journey through conversations in her head. "Each song takes you down a different path", says Ileen Laura, "It's like you enter a different room in my brain with each new song".

Her first single, “Remember November” off her upcoming album, “Mindful Conversations” includes high vocals and ambient synthesizer sounds in the background. It is a combination of electronic, adult alternative and pop music which gives it a different sound than what we’re use to hearing on the radio.
