Bio

Dirty Frazier and Z-Rack, two alias's played off of last names and global locations, were two Canadians that grew up together in a Northern BC town where a rap scene was, and still is, non-existent. Throughout the years, and without following the trend that there small population deemed as "good music", they continued to listen to hiphop at its best of times and its very worst. Dirty and Z could often be found as teenagers at parties spitting out there favorite verses, or driving around with nothing more to do then to rap into the dashboards of there parents vehicles, with dreams and ambitions to one day create the music that flowed through there veins and overwhelmed there souls. Being lifelong friends, with the same lifelong goals, while both sharing the same desire for rap, they decided to form Ill-literate in 2009 and attempt to revive the edge and grime that modern day hiphop seemed to be lacking. Shortly after making there first few songs, they both noticed the chemistry that they possessed with each other, and how real the music and energy was in there raps. It had opened there eyes, and there talent made it impossible to deny...hiphops new stars had been born. They started entering there songs into contests consisting of hundreds of other entries, if not more, and were being recognized always in the top 5 or better. They are currently in construction of there new studio, that will be of proffesional quality, and will continue making tracks afterwards for there first mixtape to release, followed by there debut album. Dirty and Z believe that rap is who they are, but it is not the basis of how they operate there group. They are friends before they are rappers, they base there group around whats best for the other person, rather then whats best for either themselves or the "group". Selfishness has no room in Ill-literate, and with that frame of mind, making great tracks will always come before money, watches, chains or a house on cribs. The fans of Ill-literate can expect nothing less in the future, then what you hear today. In your face rap, with grimey beats that are just to real to forget. A hard, exciting brand of music that will continue for years to come. A group that vows never to change or sell out, promising to always put the best thing about hiphop first, not the image......the music.
