Feeling a bit camera shy

Ill Supreme, consisting of Romski & DJ Whatever, started when Romski met DJ Whatever outside a local night spot where the two just clicked out of their shared love hip hop music. At that time DJ Whatever was spinning at night clubs to earn some extra cash to get his way through school, and Romski was honing his lyrical skills between college classes. When the two met and found out about each others passions Romski asked if he could come kick it and freestyle over some instrumentals. After numberous freestyle sessions at Whatever's spot, whom had been making beats as well since 1995, Whatever suggested that Romski should work on song structure and shortening his lengthy rhymes. Romski took that advice and kept that knowledge through the rest of his college years.

In August 1999, Romski headed off to the Big Apple to finish his studies and graduated in 2001. Upon his return, Romski hooked up again with DJ Whatever to show what he had improved on during his time away and soon the two started recording songs on beats that Whatever had produced.

After years of working on styles and recording over beats that Whatever produced as well as beats produced by Da Hermit, the two man wrecking crew started to come full circle giving birth the dynamic rap duo known as ILL Supreme.

There style is blend of old school and new school trying to break traditional barriers with the goal of making quality sounding hip hop that everyone can dig. When listening to ILL Supreme you can hear that style when hip hop was fun blended with social commentary that effects that everyday people can really grasp . One thing remains true with Ill Supreme and that is to keep making music from the heart and to dig deep when times are tough.
