Bio
Illuminous is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Nicole Carter. With an infectious mix of modern R&B, rap and soul, the band is infused with the latin and indie rock sensibilities of rhythm section Charlie Amparan and Victor Garcia. Guitarist Chris Bateman gives the smooth the rough edges by inciting tones of Ritchie Blackmore and Billy F. Gibbons. Gospel keyboardist Matthew Neyland provides the soul drenched melody and the Higher Calling to the group. With an eclectic mix of styles, the blending is truly a unique and energetic musical experience.
