I'll Write It, LLC

Raised in a melody-filled environment, Erica Walker was introduced to the art of music at an early age. Her father sang along with his siblings in a New York-based R&B/Soul group called "The Dynamic Belltones" in the 70 & 80s. It was to no surprise that the gift of music and the love for performing arts was passed onto Erica as she, herself joined a singing group at age 14. The New Jersey based R&B trio called “Treyce" gave Erica the opportunity to write, record and perform her own music. It was also her first official introduction to the music industry. After 4 years with Treyce and upon completion of high school, Erica chose to leave her hometown of Jersey City attend college out-of-state, putting her desire to be a recording artist on pause.

Today, Erica writes... songs, hooks, lyrics, bios, essays, newsletters, entertainment news articles and more. Focusing on Mass Communications while at the University of South Carolina, Erica received a BA in Arts aspiring to have a career in journalism. By her junior year in college, Erica had become employed with one of the country's leading media companies, Cox Radio. She has held multiple positions on and off the air that include Mix Show Host at 107.3 Jamz/WJMZ in Greenville, SC where she went by the stage name "Passion" and Promotions Director for 102.7-106.9 The Blaze in Tyler, TX where she was the Promotions Director and hosted the Morning Show under the name "Erica D."

To this day, Erica Walker is still passionate about her career in the music and multi-media industries and aspires to be one of the most sought after writers in her field(s). With a poetic talent for writing and a deep passion for music, Erica has been able to combine her dreams of being a musician and journalist by writing for various producers, emerging artists, and online magazines/newsletters.

Erica is also an advocate for youth and works closely with Youth Media Minds of America, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hands-on audio and video technology training to youth ages 14-18 in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. www.YMMA.org

In 2008, Erica founded “I’ll Write It, LLC,” a multi-media company that specializes in written communications including but not limited to aritst biographies, business proposals, web content, marketing pieces, song lyrics, and more!

Her Dream: To write beautiful, engaging music for everyone she meets.
Her Goal: For the world to sing her lyrics.
