Lyrical Wizardry

( VERSE 1)
there have been hustles that never worked, as well as hustles that never leave
i’ve pulled hustles that made me cry, some hustles that made me see
hustles I knew could do it, and the hustles I had to try
for the hustle of movin’ forward, for the sake of self and i
hustle hard like a single mom to make them ends meet
so if the hustle aint providin’ for me-how am I gonna eat?
i carried hustles in a bag, some hustles that made me bleed
some hustles i invented and of course, hustles that carried me
i got to eat hustle, shit , live & breeathe this hustle
and if i never tried it, it’s cuz i got to feeeel the hustle
this struggle aint tougher than me, i got that ‘hustle-muscle’
you know it-Brooklyn taught me - i got that hustle-hustle
odd-jobs, stagehand, building new skylights
bartender, mc, my cam shoot the highlights
counselor, auntie, spray walls, & breaknight
jill-of-all trades, master some cuz i’m that nice!

( VERSE 2)
master charmer, money collector, most calculatin’,
many come, but most choose manipulation
constantly makin’ control minor catastrophes
missions completed, misunderstood catchin’ me
i’m coolin’, meticulous, careful, makin’ choices
musical celeb, mixin’ cameras, my causes
maintain crisp, machine-caliber methods
contrary movements all caught me collectin’
memories cherished, master chemistry ingested
mushrooms, cheeba, ‘mother&childconnected’
mercury climbs, mark calendar moments clearly
my mind carries me, i’m cautiously-made & carefree
ΩMoon Calamity…i hate monotonous conversations
missing cohesion, i hate monopoly corporations
moreover, communication makes for more clarity
MC squared, I AM THIS HIP-HOP THAT CARRIES ME!

( VERSE 3)
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeahhh/doin’ it live now/switchin’ the style now
jenny stay thorough, jenny on the grind
jenny read cycles, you can hear jenny rhyme
call me Jenny Forest-cuz i looove them trees
hater’s so porous, jenemy-friendemies
jenny hit where it count, jenny tongue d-don’t stutter
jenny dress in the dark and jenny flow butter
jenny roach-killer, i rock a 2-finger bronze
it’s true I LOVE HATER’S, jenny got it goin’ on
jenny break night, till the breaka-breaka dawn
you can catch jenny vibe when you hear jenny song
jenny ragamuffin (TRUUUUE) but jenny got style
and you don’t really know me ‘less you run jenny-miles
that’s why I LOVE MY FAM, they take TRUE care o’ jenny
i’m cheap with every penny, live the genesis of jenny
“shorty dirt bike-Jenny”, still reppin’ her 5’s
heart of a Lone Wolf, jenny eyes on the prize (HOWL)

Good Night, Good Night

Written By: ©2013 Jendog Lonewolf ℗ASCAP Soul Warrior Publishing, ilovejendog

(CHORUS)
good night, good night, where’s my souljah’s with the good fight
no buzz cuts, only stamina (to) get our ‘hoods right, hoods tight
selective protests send the message that it’s allll right
to shoot us down in the night,
with that ‘bang-bang boogie’ that nobody can dance to
are you scared to change cuz it’s clear that we have to
the cops and the klan aint only ones that’ll blast you
be careful in the ‘hood cuz the streets’ll outlast you

(VERSE 1)
jendog a creature of habit, but my fears can take a backseat
allergic to wack beats and rappers with fake rap feats
kids dance to our doom, kaBOOM, here come the rap sheets
cuz obviously, exactly what kids see they do, exactly
and that’s a problem, let’s make it happen, not excuses
prep the youths, open their miiinds to what the truth is
it aint easy, cuz the lie’s record is ruthless
their Souls are gone, now they’re digitized and clueless
heh, so your so-called problems, just solve ‘em
if ya situation’s sticky, so what! just use some solvent
when life gives you lemons, you make some lemonade
and if the Sun’s too hot go find a spot in the shade
aint nothing that tough cuz to some WE got it made
and the weight of stress smothers so i had to make that fade
Bob’s words, onto them, i hold tight
knowing EVERY lil' thing is gonna BE alright

(CHORUS)
good night, good night, where’s my Souljah’s with the good fight
no buzz cuts, only stamina (to) get our ‘hoods right, hoods tight
selective protests send the message that it’s allll right
to shoot us down in the night,
with that ‘bang-bang boogie’ that nobody can dance to
are you scared to change cuz it’s clear that we have to
the cops and the klan aint only ones that’ll blast you
be careful in the ‘hood cuz the streets’ll outlast you

(VERSE 2)
no more clawin’ at the walls, the four walls surroundin’
spoken with no drawl - ‘for show’ them kids drowning
preservers can’t save cuz they don’t know they need them
and Life won’t flourish cuz we continue to bleed dem
that’s all of we’seed dem, need MORE than a village
future’s on the line, oceans dyin’ from spillage
we need MORE than a miracle, money won’t stop the killin’
jendog stay lyrical, keep dem people livin’
they make the war-bucks, blood spill from The Lyin’
i say “aw shucks, these suckas STILL buying”--!?
in to democracy, thrivin’ in hypocrisy
Solstice approach, your government is watching thee
spyin' through your cable box, slicker than the illest fox
i pound ignorance out, don’t worry what hits i got
i'm tired of hindsight seeing more than we know
wake up, sheeple, PLEASE, act like you know

(CHORUS)
good night, good night, where’s my souljah’s with the good fight
no buzz cuts, only stamina (to) get our ‘hoods right, hoods tight
selective protests send the message that it’s allll right
to shoot us down in the night,

are you scared to change cuz it’s clear that we have to
the cops and the klan aint only ones that’ll blast you
be careful in the ‘hood cuz the streets’ll outlast you

(VERSE 3)
every year we lose thousands of our brothers
bloods on the hands of thousands of brothers
yet the only time we rah-rah is when a cop does it
unarmed folks slain everyday, ya feel me, cuz’n?
when it’s one of our own, it seems to take the heat off it
unless it’s for profit, nobody’s tryna stop it!
now, you tell ME, what’s wrong with this picture?!?
jail aint no fixer, WE NEED THE REAL ELIXER!!!

Private Enemy

PRIVATE ENEMY
(lyrics ©2016 Jendog Lonewolf (p) ASCAP SoulWarrior Publishing)

(VERSE 1)
I been around the world and i-i-iiii
Can’t even believe the things we let fly by
"Dr. Drugdealer" keep the patients how-high?
Thin on my nerves when I see the children cry-cry
Where is Spirit revolution? Why so many dry eyes?
Complacently digitized? Water’s full of fluoride
Your lies, my lies, real eyes realize
That spider trapped us, this web is worldwide
War-lies, education’s full-up of more lies
Entire communities, post-traumatic suicides
And homicides, wreckin’ lives through genocide
His-Story re-peats, ‘protest, then you die’.
We can’t let it slide and enlightends know why I?
Believe that they really want our Souls on the sliz-zy
But this Wiz I am, be awake in the night
This fizz-ight we gotta fight with all of our might

(CHORUS)
Treasonous gluttons, sticky fingers on buttons
they be brainwashin’, if you see sutton, say Sutton
fake wars, bodies chopped like muttons
kids wildin’ out, grown adults aint sayin’ nuffin

‘bout fake wars, bodies chopped like muttons
treasonous gluttons, sticky fingers on buttons
kids wildin’ out, grown adults aint sayin’ nuffin
fake wars, if you see Sutton, say sutton

(VERSE 2)
Lungs tight, can’t breathe, these sheeple still sleep
Alarm clock, won’t stop, send the message through me
Sky-watcher, moon praise, Sun-worship, stargaze
Brown skin hated on, we need the blind to change ways
My people killin’ Self, Nature stolen, bad health
Universe forgot about, people crave the wrong wealth
Plus they caught up in looks, and they gave up on books
the world-wide web got us trapped in its hooks
Soldiers going all out, log on, tune out
Misplaced aggression, innocence chewed out
Pants sag, ass out, improper gander (im-propaganda) passed out
So much on my plate! Is society assed out??
Adults no longer really raisin’ our child
Sex symbols really hot, but role models mild
‘Wildlife’ to me is Nature, foot to sand
what happened to the days when we really did what we can?!?

(CHORUS)
Treasonous gluttons, sticky fingers on buttons
they be brainwashin’, if you see sutton, say Sutton
fake wars, bodies chopped like muttons
kids wildin’ out, grown adults aint sayin’ nuffin

‘bout fake wars, bodies chopped like muttons
treasonous gluttons, sticky fingers on buttons
kids wildin’ out, grown adults aint sayin’ nuffin
fake wars, if you see sutton, say Sutton

(VERSE 3)
If you’re aware, they distract you, regress, and retroact you
Sleepwalkers, WAKE UP! Let knowledge kick slap you
Step outcha TV box, led by cocks
Cuz there’s more going on besides Hollywood, X-Box
And Black men with nice hops, like dangerous night cops
Bruisin’ power, make organized price drops
The rice crops up but yet the ipod’s down
That seed been planted, watch them sad-faced clowns
9 to 5’s kill stamina, political scammers
Social hitmen, the real truth is so scandalous
Ignorance is bliss if you drink piss with lies
Infiltrated skies, foes friendlier than skies
So, it aint no surprise that’s it’s safe to surmise
They succeed in their terror, pullin’ wool over eyes
Now, with that said, you know why I hit the booth
For all the non-believers ignorant of the truth!

(CHORUS)
Treasonous gluttons, sticky fingers on buttons
they be brainwashin’, if you see sutton, say Sutton
fake wars, bodies chopped like muttons
kids wildin’ out, grown adults aint sayin’ nuffin

‘bout fake wars, bodies chopped like muttons
treasonous gluttons, sticky fingers on buttons
kids wildin’ out, grown adults aint sayin’ nuffin
fake wars, if you see Sutton, say Sutton

Release & Replenish

Written By: (©2014 Jendog Lonewolf ℗ASCAP Soul Warrior Publishing)

(CHORUS)
i'm not trying to pick up pieces of my life that left me
survival instincts have got me feeling a little bit testy
don’t trust don’t wantchu near me
how come noone can hear me?
i’m finding, replenishing, elements of my Self that left me

(VERSE 1)
when my Soul aches i think about this life that i’ve lived
had my Mother for a while and then she died for her kids
kinda like Jesus did, inside, i know i still have her
the born-traveller, some say ‘the mystery unraveller’
whenever questions arise, 2 fingers wet to the wind
i start the journey over, new lessons, again
and it don't stop cuz it don't stop so i can't stop
movin' through frontlines of this fiyah i got
some people burn me, the sadness learns me, but i survive
with three eyes wide, i still believe in the prize
i hear the sparrow cry though, and it aint no reason why though
'Love' can't be the only answer cuz it breathes like a lie, yo
and i be tryna make it happen, i try to make it work
that's why my best foot stays forward, stomped on until it hurts
but i aint got no regrets, wisely, i choose my steps
embracin' each moment, everyday and every breath

(CHORUS)
i'm not trying to pick up pieces of my life that left me
survival instincts have got me feeling a little bit testy
don’t trust don’t wantchu near me
how come noone can hear me?
i’m finding, replenishing, elements of my Self that left me

(VERSE 2)
my mind's picture is an image of crossed words delivered
to what i thought and what i fought along the fine lines of scrimmage
love taken, and given for free becuase i paid the cost
here i go again but for the timed grace of the gods
against all grains, i reap the seeds that i sow
and even with holes in my support, i'm gaining ground as i go
yeah, i'm short with growin' pains, been taught "don't hold disdain"
walk hard against the fog, sing to yall how i fought the pain
valuable loyalty feigned, the Magic of my royalty reigns
supreme quiet understandin' of this walk to my fame
the blame game is lame, three fingers pointing back atchu
and all of them are steady fannin' the flames
the meltdown, back to bare necessities, no egos
enemies see-through, how (are) you better than me if we equal?
vulture-cultures eatchu, it's Light versus the evil
people greet with greed, expectations deceitful

(CHORUS)
i'm not trying to pick up pieces of my life that left me
survival instincts have got me feeling a little bit testy
don’t trust don’t wantchu near me
how come noone can hear me?
i’m finding, replenishing, elements of my Self that left me

(VERSE 3)
with gravity spit, lock on, i hold me down
disproportionate truth keeps Jen divorcin' that crowd
silent voice, thoughts long, Queen (is) Miss Understood
i let the doorknob hitchu how i wish that i would
i'm a lover, don't need bastids, try to move past it
friends elastic, but wanna ask me why i'm spastic
involuntary automatic, all the fools are plastic-
ken & barbie dolls, fake smiles everlastin'
painted on, Jendeezo stays gettin' hated on
point missed like an error, the friend you waited your whole life on
Shit Be Gone™, i wish for that and the Lotto numbers
superfluous guap awake the snakes from their slumber
i clear my pipes like a plumber, howlin' words that turn to thunder
thoughts lightning-fast, sparking up the illest of wonders

Stop & Frisk (excerpt)

Written By: (©2015 jendog lonewolf (P) ASCAP Soul Warrior Publishing)

(VERSE)

jenny-on-the-block, i got that Bushwick Hip Hop
i can't stop but "stop & frisk" has gotta stop
it's so dehumanizing, plus we always catch them lyin'
beast fills the quotas while the judges kill the prisoner's pinings
corporate silver lining, police protection lying
obviously they two-timing, frisking, stopping yours & mine
in white hoods they wouldn't stand for this
plus, in white 'hoods, they not standin' for This!
