IM TAKT’s debut maxi single, featuring the track Afrika, recently featured in the American T.V. series CSI –The Experts, received a resounding support from the bloggers on the internet.
Stimulated by this success the trio from Brest added vocals to their poundings beats and grooves to give a more British sound to their set without losing the robotic and punchy sound of their first opus.
During the year 2011, following on from a twelve day tour of Japan and a date at the “Transmusicales” in Rennes, they supported both Metronomy and France’s award wining rock star Catherine Ringer at the Olympia in Paris, and recently Breton.
Discovered in 2010 via the competition “Tremplin des Jeunes Charues”, the group return to Carhaix this summer as part of the official line up to present their second EP released for the occasion.
