Image Club
Blake Anthony Hillbourn and Brandon Michael King began writing music more than 16 years ago. After many incarnations and evolutions of sound, Image Club was formed.
Image Club incorporates a wide variety of different styles, textures and influences. Sonically, Image Club is a mixture of eclectic vintage beats set next to bombastic guitar riffs, underpinned by aggressive synths and cinematic soundscapes. Blake Hillbourn's melodies soar over the heavy percussive music, highlighting a raw contrasting style that captivates and jostles the listener from one emotion to another.
Image Club's first single, "Celebrity," encapsulates the many influences that both Blake & Brandon share. Celebrity is a melodic yet dense 8 string guitar driven song with a striking synth passage many fans of ambient music will find a welcomed surprise. "Geisha," the bands first LP, expands on the themes explored on their first single.
