Formed in the summer of 2011 in Dallas, TX by current and former members of Harsh Noise legends Black Leather Jesus, as well as, Ascites and The Godless Girl, Image Boosters came together to combine the power of Harsh Noise with the groove of Electronic Dance Music and Avant Hip Hop.
Refusing to use computers for any part of the creative process all music is written, recorded and performed on vintage and modern hardware creating a live and raw sound far too uncommon in the modern world of highly polished electronic music.
July 2011 saw the release of the first mix tape, Guns N Dope. A preview of things to come released for free download and streaming via Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
Currently a new full length, Semen Marcus, is in the works for Dallas, TX Avant / Noise label Celebrity Sex Tapes.
