Fury Impulse played to a packed crowd in the downstairs lounge at Fitzgerald's on February 27th. This was their first live performance but by the quality of the music and reaction of the crowd - you would think they had been playing for years. Fury Impulse touts themselves as an alternative metal band. I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived but having listened to their entire set, I agree with their genre. A mature band for their age; Fury Impulse is a hard hitting band that delivers a unique, energetic and driving performance with all original music.

I spoke with the band following their performance and learned they have very diverse backgrounds. The lead singer Miguel Garcia is from Colombia, brothers Jason and Jared Gourd on guitar and drums, originally from Oklahoma with Simon Roberts from England on bass.

Politics, Love and Life are the influencing factors in their music with several new songs already in the making.

I for one will be watching this band closely and expect many of you will do the same once you hear their music or even better - attend a live performance.
