Urban Funk/Rock. Based out of Albany, NY, IMI performs a high energy/dancy mix of funk, rock, reggae, hip-hop & R&B. Performing both original music showcases and full night cover tune shows, IMI has become famous for getting even the most timid audiences up and dancin'!


IMI has just come off a very busy schedule of 1-3 shows a week for their 2009 show season to finish production of their new EP, "Call Me What You Will". During recent years, IMI was found performing throughout the Northeast at venues including the Savannah's, the Skyline, Baileys, Putnam Den, Mare' Ristorante (formerly Metro/Luna Lounge in Saratoga, NY), The Naked Turtle, The Monopole, Crazy Clam, The Trash Bar, The Bitterend, Noche, 103.1FM's "Big Break", 104.9FM's Chili Peppers After Party and Capital Underground Radio show, and several events for Fly92 FM as well as several private parties.

IMI also had very successful experiences performing at the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Music Conference in Charlotte, NC and the 2007 Millenium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA, showcased at the 2008/09 Utica Music Fest and was a finalist for OS Nat'l Band Search in NYC @ Love, Sexy R-n-R Club!!!


IMI is currently completing their new album, "Call Me What You Will", scheduled for an early 2010 release. This album includes 7 tracks that highlight the diversity of style that is IMI and features several guest performers including the Uptown Horns (The Rolling Stones/J. Giles Band) and world percussionist, Brian Melick.

Sample tracks and live video clips are currently streamed online (including at and and receiving airplay on select radio stations in the Northeast. Look for national retail and internet distribution of IMI's new album this spring....

Our covertune show is probably one of the most varied out there. Anything dancy is fair game. Bob Marley to Stevie Wonder...Sublime to Jack Johnson....Rage Against the Machine to Ben Harper....Bell Biv Devoe to Charlie Daniels... Its this broad variety of dancy covers that has IMI booked regularly at the largest venues in Upstate's all there- ya have to see us to believe it!!!!
