Bio

Exorcism formed in 2007 from the ashes of Chicago death metal band, Ritual In Death. Exorcism worked really fast and got 10 songs done by March 2008. They are getting ready to record a full length debut album later this year. In April 2008, they released a demo of 5 songs. Exorcism began pre-production of their album in June 2008. During the process, they felt that drummer Cody Kehn was holding them back from going to the next level so they brought in Alex Isabelli on drums. Shortly after, Alex Isabelli left the band to focus on school. Exorcism then added Al Slager to the vacant drum throne and changed their name to Immortal Reaping. They felt the old name was too immature and taking them in the wrong direction. Once the new name and drummer was in place, the band parted ways with Kyle Rauhut due to musical and personal differences. Al Slager then left the band for family and many months went by before a permanent drummer was found. Pierce Rambow then came in to play bass and shortly after, Sean Coogan (ex-Bloodweiser) stepped up to play drums. The first time in the bands history that the line-up felt right. Immortal Reaping recorded the Virtue demo in early 2009 and is preparing material for their debut full-length album, Dawn of Apathy.
