AMOS has just finished producing his new album "Showtime" that will be released in spring 2010.
It contains 12 rock songs that AMOS is planning to perform live in the course of a concert tour in spring/summer 2010.
He is especially anxious to be lined up on summer festivals in and around Germany but is also eager to play internationally.

AMOS was born 1976 in Teheran as the youngest son of an iranian doctor and a german artist. At the age of five he mastered the flute, one year later he started playing the piano. For over 10 years he was educated in classical music. During that time AMOS won numerous national contest (such as "Jugend musiziert") and played as many concerts. At the age of 15 he started playing the guitar and subsequently founded several bands with a musical style ranging from Rock to Funk. By that time AMOS began writing, singing and recording his own songs.

2006 he released his first record - the EP "I Can't Stop My Feet". The video for the eponymous single with AMOS wearing a golden hamansutra suite brought him cult status among all social network communitites. The following album "Imperator of Pop" appeared in June 2007 on Sounds of Subterrania and contained twelve popsongs.

In November 2007 AMOS spread 30.000 neon yellow stickers all around the MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich promoting the free download of his song "MTV is Killing Me" (www.mtviskillingme.com). The campaign was discussed in numerous print and online media features (Myspace, Vanity Fair, Spiegel, SZ, etc.). The song was on rotation in commercial and independent german radio stations and is a classic today. Even MTV Legend Steve Blame was impressed. (Official Statement: "How fantastic is that?!")

In the beginning of 2008 AMOS presented "Playback Payback" (www.playback-payback.com). Everyone who destroyed his or her favourite record received an AMOS album for free. The submission of a video proof assumed. The campaign was reviewed in print and online media. In the course of it AMOS produced an amusing and descriptive short film starring Jörg Rühl - well known from various german TV appearances. The film was shown on the Oberhausener Filmfestival.

In Sommer 2008 AMOS played a concert in the movie Robert Zimmermann wundert sich über die Liebe (www.robert-zimmermann-derfilm.de) directed by Leander Haußmann, starring Tom Schilling. The same year AMOS produced a music video for his song "Bla Bla" starring Julia Dietze, directed by Tobias Knipf.

2009 AMOS released the title track for the movie City Kill by tougheye productions (www.citykill.de).
On christmas 2009 he released his single "XXXmas" that caused awareness nationwide and across all media (press, TV, radio, online).

Currently AMOS is working on his new rock album "Showtime" that will come out in spring 2010. In the course of its promotion there will be a tour with a band of 5 (3 guitars, bass, Drums) in spring summer.

Amos wurde 1976 als Sohn eines iranischen Arztes und einer deutschen Künstlerin in Teheran geboren. Mit fünf Jahren beherrschte er die Blockflöte, ein Jahr später begann er, Klavier zu spielen, und nahm über zehn Jahre Unterricht in klassischer Musik. Während dieser Zeit gewann Amos zahlreiche überregionale Wettbewerbe (u.a. Jugend musiziert) und gab viele Konzerte. Seit seinem 15. Lebensjahr spielt er Gitarre und gründete mehrere Bands, deren musikalischer Stil von Rockmusik bis Funk reichte. In dieser Zeit begann Amos eigene Songs zu schreiben, zu singen und aufzunehmen.

2006 erschien seine erste offizielle Veröffentlichung „I Can‘t Stop My Feet“ als EP. Das dazugehörige Video im Hamansutra-Goldanzug brachte Amos Kultstatus in Social-Network-Communities ein. Das darauf folgende Album „Imperator of Pop“ erschien in Juni 2007 bei Sounds of Subterrania und enthielt zwölf klassisch arrangierte Popsongs.

Im November 2007 verteilte Amos rund um die MTV Europe Music Awards in München 30.000 neongelbe Sticker mit dem Hinweis auf den Gratisdownload seines Songs "MTV is Killing Me" (www.mtviskillingme.com). Die Aktion wurde in zahlreichen Presse- und Online-Features (Myspace, Vanity Fair, Spiegel, SZ, etc.) besprochen.
