Implied Logic

Implied Logic,...or,...Impl¿ed Log¿c, as we like to refer to ourselves, was founded in October of 2004.
Since that time we have worked steadily to cement ourselves as one of Northeast Ohio's more unusual forms of entertainment.

There is more than meets the eye...

Impl¿ed Log¿c is all about the music. While this may seem like a no brainer, there is really more to it. As many have witnessed, we are all about gleaning some very wonderful pieces from the past and present that deserve to be preserved for generations to come. While it is typical for us to play music from well-known artists, we try to present to you familiar songs that are uncommon to the local stage.

We have remained wildly eclectic for the simple reason that we are not narrow minded in what we listen to; therefore we refuse to narrow what we perform. Impl¿ed Log¿c is a band of music lovers, and there is so much out there to love!

Then there is the songwriter in each of us. This too is eclectic. If you think about it, what you grew up on is what probably has influenced you the most, in all facets of your life. It is bound to come forth in new creations, one way or another. Which is why our audience continually sees an array of brand new Original material. If you think that you’ve seen us, look again. Genres are overrated, and we hope to never fit the mold. We´re not changing our sound, just revealing more of it.

Our show is a moving target, tailored to the venue. It gives us great joy to share what lives inside of us. Wardrobe, color, movement, personality, energy and humor are all planned as an interactive experience, to bring the audience into the performance. Our (wireless) Bassist-at-Large invites you to Jump, Jive, Boogie, Sing and Shout along with us!

It's all part of presenting a fresh show. You wouldn't want to eat the same thing everyday for dinner, so why should we present you with nothing more than a regurgitated set list?

Jerry Koch is no slouch as a drummer, with four decades of experience in all genres. Offering quick “one-liners”, and keeping us all entertained, never short on wit and charisma. This man knows how to solidly ground the band, and keep things moving.

Crystal Boggess is energetic, & somewhat unpredictable in her performances as a bassist & vocalist, songwriter. She has been formally trained in musical instrumentation, theory, and composition, with a real flare for causing fun to happen.

Currently, we, Impl¿ed Log¿c, are a self-contained entity. Performing all of the “business” tasks ourselves, we are our own management, writers, arrangers, publishers, graphic artists, & equipment techs. We also do all of our own web authoring, marketing & promotions.
