"Playlist for The Big One | In Back of a Black Car – Lips/ Spare Me Love"

Who would have thought the second coming of INXS would emerge from Kansas City?

‘Lips’ and ‘Spare Me Love’ are adds to the Playlist for The Big One from KC’s ‘nocturnal gloss’ popsters In Back of a Black Car. Totally danceable driving music with great synth, this is some most excellent indie pop definitely worth adding to your late-night-shift soundtrack.

"Singles: Pop elements with a dark tinge from "Lips""

By MICHELLE BACON

“Lips,” In Back of a Black Car: This new track from Kansas City’s In Back of a Black Car starts out with a sexy INXS-type vibe and ends with entrancing, swirling synth effects. Simple pop elements with a dark tinge show a strong composition style from this four-piece group. - Kansas City Star
