Indigo Fury

Indigo Fury

BandRockAlternative

Heavy indie-rock peppered with glorious melody and hooks, Indigo Fury sound like everyone and nobody at the same time. Take the rage of Nirvana, the pop sensibilities of the Kinks and the downright ballsiness of Bon Scott era AC/DC and you've still a way to go in describing their sound.

Biography

Indigo Fury are back. Again. After a series of false starts and bizarre gardening accidents the band have recruited fresh blood and are gearing up for a busy August of gigging and promotion. New single "Somethin' Happened" comes complete with a new video and sees the band back doing what they do best. If you like your indie-rock on the heavy side Indigo Fury are damn sure to please.

The band took a break in 2006 and after various dallies in moonlighting and side projects that included Patiosounds, AJ Suzuki and Sparks Fly, Marty and Rory decided to try out some new material. The Indigo junkies they are, they just couldn't help themselves, and so the hunt for new staff began.

Through hours of online trawling, word of mouth, seduction and elements of grave-robbing the boys sourced and recruited Stevie Hackett and Mike Parke, filling the guitar and bass voids respectively.

Take the rage of Nirvana, the pop sensibilities of the Kinks and the downright ballsiness of Bon Scott era AC/DC and you've still a way to go in describing the sound of Indigo Fury. With a knack for sounding like everybody yet nobody, the Belfast based band have returned with a batch of new soon to be released material that will blow your socks off.

With a renewed energy, determination and exciting sound, Indigo Fury have returned better than ever.
