Indigo

Indigo are a four piece band out of Mandurah, Western Australia. Starting in 2012 as Sons of Saviour, founding members Christopher Kinna and Samuel Jackson started writing songs together as a duo before expanding to a full band and changing their name to Indigo in mid 2013.

After a several line up changes, they settled on the current line up which consists of Christopher Kinna on lead vocals & guitar, Samuel Jackson on guitar & backing vocals, Russell Morton on bass guitar & backing vocals and Joshua Beaumont on drums. 

Together, the four boys produce a sound that reflects the good summer vibes that we all know and love. This soft rock/indie/alternative outfit easily translates from CD to an electric live performance that will have you dancing all night and singing along to their catchy tunes.

Indigo have just released their first official video clip for their debut single Aint It Funny which is available for download from the Reverbnation profile ahead of their debut EP due for release in the first half of 2014.

Recent successes for the band include winning the Stagebound competition organized by Sunset Events and Sonicbids; which gave the band the opportunity to kick off the Southbound 10th Anniversary Festival by opening the main stage. 

Indigo were also chosen as one of the final five finalists for the First Break 2013 competition run by Commercial Radio Australia Pty Ltd and Mushroom Group. The competition saw the band fly to Sydney to participate in a private workshop for finalists and perform in front of industry professionals who work in the areas of Commercial Radio, Record Labels and more.
