Bio

Originally born Brian Leggin and raised in a single parent home in Hammond, IN. "Indyana Jonz" found his love for music at the early age 5 starting with Run-DMC, LL Cool J, and the Beastie Boys.
He wrote his first song at 10 with a few neighborhood friends by the group name of "Tha Posse". He put the writing of music to side for a while to try his hand at sports, but that didn't pan out. When he was 13 he started running with the gangs in his neighborhood and became a "knucklehead" learning from the school of hardknocks. He was in and out of trouble until graduating high school and joining the United States Navy. He was stationed in Japan in the year 2000 where his love of music reemerged and he was back to writing in the free-time. In 2001 He and Travis Adams "Pistol Pete" formed a group named "T.W.I.N.G.U.N.S." and Brian took on the alias of "BuckFifty". The group never got the chance to release a project. In 2002 Brian was reassigned to Atlanta, GA where he met Jason "Mac" McMullen, James "Game" Reid, Ben "Big Ben" Carter, Marc "Bluntman" Blount, and Antonio "Prez" Harden. These were the members of "Red Dirt" which released two LP's in 2003, 2004 and the group disbanded in 2005 due to financial issues. Brian reunited with producer and C.E.O. of Fremind Productions Marcus " Marc See" Curry early 2005 whom he met in 2003 for a feature. Brian then change his name to "Indyana Jonz" as a reminder of where he is originally from. Marc See and Indyana Jonz went on to record 2 LP's "Maz Produk Magazine Vol. 1-2" and they also formed the group Evryda Langwich and the project is still under construction. In the winter of 2005 Indyana was introduced to Shady Records recording artist and BGOV C.E.O. Bobby Creekwater. Bobby noticed Indyana's work ethic early on and added him to his roster. Now, in 2008 Indyana was introduced to producer and business partner Bryan "Atare" Ampey and is now working on Indyana's first solo LP titled "Limitless Skies". The album is to be released in 2009 under their imprint "Genius Music Inc." a combination of their two companies Indyana's "7eventy 5ive81 Music" and Atare "Genius Productions".
