Bio

I was born in Monterey, California into a military family and now I call Killeen, TX home. Music has always been in my life with a father who formerly played with James Brown and had been in several other bands and a mother who writes poetry and musical lyrics. I’m told stories of my first acclamation with music from the days the walls around my crib were my drums. Neighbors told my parents (living in a duplex) the beats sounded as though an adult was making them. We had people in and out of the home studio and once a week my dad was having a jam session. At a very early age I had a fascination with cassettes tapes, CDs and all music sources. I watched music programs on television and emulated the entertainers. I have been able to play by ear the drums, keyboard and recorder. My father allowed me to play on his instruments at the age of 2 and by the age of 3 he gave me my first drum set. As my speech developed at point I was becoming a comedian making up my own jokes and developed my writing skills. At the age of 7, I recorded my first gospel track with my father called "I Can Feel Ya Now". Since then, I was notice by my family and my friends on what talent I had dealing with music. As a child, I’ve sung in the children’s church choir and had many parts in church and school plays. One day while visiting my Grandmother in Augusta, GA, it was discovered I had real piano skills. My uncles who also play and sing in-groups were messing around with the recording equipment and instruments wanted to see if I had my father skills. They challenge me to the piano, one of my uncles played a few bars and told me to play it back, everyone’s mouth dropped when I was able to do so. I dabbled here and there with my music writing lyrics and playing instruments, as well; I at one time liked to dance. Somewhere along the line I had decided to take a break from music to concentrate more on my education. Later on throughout my high school years I began to start getting back in the recording studio to record a few freestyles. During the year 2009, I have become more serious about my music and recorded my first EP titled "It's a Well-Known Fact". A few months back I had my first EP Release Party in Harker Heights, TX. The EP contains 3 songs, "Versatile", "Motivation", and "It's a Well-Known Fact”. I’m working on performances and seeking to get into the industry. I am currently working on more material right now and I hope that I will continue to receive full support from anyone who is listening. My influences extend from various artists and when I was younger my favorite artist was Sinead O’Connor. I like listening to Rappers like KRS One, EPMD, Rakim, Public Enemy; NAS, 2pac, The Notorious B.I.G., too more current rappers; Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Twista, 50 cent, E-40, and many more. Being brought up in a very musically diverse family other artist that influence me are Michael Jackson, James Brown, Big and Rich, Brooks and Dunn, The Whispers, Barry White, Tina Marie, and Mariah Carey. I am basically inspired by Music period. I believe my music sets me apart from other artists because it’s Unique and doesn’t sound like the norm. My style will take us into a new genre as we seek change. I have lyrical content and deliver heartfelt music. My music influence people to be determined and motivated by encouraging everybody to stay on the right path of life. My talents are natural gifts. I also have skills impersonating and acting.
