Next up were a young-looking band, Coventry-based Infury. As they took to the stage, the majority of their following (mainly young girls) leaped to the front of the stage, waiting impatiently for them to start. From looking at their casual image, I was very surprised to hear what they produced; very traditional metal with raspy vocals! The lead guitarist immediately stood out to me, he looked about 12 years old, but I’m sure he could probably run rings around most guitarists in the Midlands, especially with the way he was shredding!
However, at times, I didn’t feel like the vocals fitted well with certain tracks, but it worked for them on the night and once they left the stage, most of the crowd followed too. Leaving an almost empty room for the next act… - Claire Brazier

Bio
Infury started off as a school band, with several close friends that just enjoyed playing music. They started doing occasional gigs around coventry city centre at local unsigned nights in very small venues.
When they reached the end of their school years they decided to become more serious, going to unsigned nights at bigger venues and badgering the promoters untill they could get the first slot of the night. After a few gigs with local promoters, they started going up the list and have now played several headline slots at 200+ capacity venues, including Coventry's Kasbah. One of these promoters was the company Too Late For Thursday who liked the music and the supporting crowd they brought that much that they are now the management for Infury, taking them to venues all over the UK including London's 'The Live Room', The o2 Academy's and are on the way to launching a European tour when their album is completed in the middle of 2011.
Infury have entered a Battle of the bands to play Bloodstock, and received very positive feedback from all judges.
Infury are influenced by Metallica, Pantera, Lamb of God, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Shaddow Falls, As I Lay Dying, Parkway Drive, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Heads and many more, taking the best from these bands and turning it into something very unique.
Infury know that it is very hard to make it in the music industry but are willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top as they have proven by making the sacrifice of replacing their previous bassist in late 2009 to make way for someone who shared the collectives hopes, dreams and ambitions.
