"SoulTracks First Look: Ingram Street warns "Don't Disturb This Groove""

Columbus, Ohio brothers Woody & Minquel Ingram , aka Ingram Street, have been singing pop and R&B in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio since they were kids. And their star rose higher when they released music as part of the vocal quintet  Up 2 Par.  Now, a brotherly duo,  Woody & Minquel have now formed the duo known as Ingram Street a nd hitting SoulTracker s  with a new single with a danceable old school groove.

Says the brothers: "The song 'Don't Disturb This Groove' is a positive song that encourages the listener to not give up on anything postive they are trying to accomplish in life.  When we all have a goal, whether it is to do music or excel in any other talent or skill, someone or something will come along and try to interrupt our plan and disturb our routine or 'groove' and this song is telling the listener to not give in and let any negativity deprive them of that destination!"

"First Listen: Ingram Street goes “Insane” with new single"

Certified 'soul brothers' both literally and figuratively, Coumbus OH natives Woody and Minquel Ingram spent their formative years as many aspiring musicians do: listening to and learning from R&B pioneers (Prince, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, to name a few) while forging a style all their own. Earlier releases with another musical collective, Up 2 Par, helped the brothers to shape their sound and gave them the confidence to create their own duo, Ingram Street.
"Insane" is one of the singles from their debut LP, Escapism, and will instantly hearken to '80's babies' and those who enjoyed the superband explosion of that era (Midnight Starr, Confunkshun). The midtempo vibe is an energetic and danceable tribute to the instantaenous power that physcal attraction can create, a narrative conveying imagery over explicitness with each awestruck verse.
Thanks to their raw talents and complementary, yet contrasting vocals, Ingram Street's music is gaining listeners and audiences across multiple platforms. With a steady ascent. Minquel and Woody are weaving those long-ago lessons into their own signature grooves and can only become better nuanced with time.  - Soultracks

"First Listen: Ingram Street is on a "Natural High""

(September 21, 2016) Columbus, Ohio natives and brothers Woody & Minquel Ingram find themselves moving opposite to trends with their latest release, “Natural High,” from their album Escapism. This is a ballad that would fit right at home on “Quiet Storm” radio.
Of course, the type of ballads that bring couples to the dance floor where they hold each other close and tight as he wraps his arms around her waist and she places her head on his chest are few and far between these days. Even the song’s title, “Natural High,” recalls a time when bands – yes bands – made the Quiet Storm format necessary. “Natural High” sports an atmospheric arrangement propelled by percussion and spacey keyboard work leaving a lot of room for sensual and vocals and good lyrics that set the scene for romance while leaving something to the imagination.  - Soultracks
