Bio

Initial Doubt hails from Pinellas County, Florida. Coming together in mid 2002, this band of young musicians has managed to amaze crowds with their style. ability and high energy performances. In the short time they have been together they have released 3 ep's and created about 20 original compostions.

Their dedication to their craft is commendable. In addition to being full time students, their time is spent rehearsing, writing, live gigs, interviews and recording sessions.

Their youthlfullness can deceive you. You might think Initial Doubt is an ordinary garage band, but once heard you still doubt they are as young as they are. A sound influenced by Disturbed, Chevelle, Linkin Park and Black Sabbath, each Initial Doubt song taps into the emotions any age can relate to.

The exposure they have been getting this past year and the fan base they have won over is priceless. Ian, Angela, Ricky and Mike have performed at various popular venues around the Tampa Bay area, were interviewd by two entertainment talk radio shows, filmed for a cable access show that dedicates itself to supporting local talent, and their music has been aired on two FM radio stations, 97X & 98 ROck. They also performed at three annual Tampa events, (Taste of Pinellas, Hillsborough County Fair and Chasco Fiesta) and was one of the opening acts for National recording artist Stephen Pearcey, founder of the 80's band "RATT".

Initial Doubt deservingly achieved the title of "Best Young Band in Central Florida" at the 8th Annual 2004 Florida Rock Off" sponsored by Reindeer Records.

Their recent achievement was being voted number one by 7000 listeners of 98 Rock & Real Radio 104.1 Monsters in the Morning Show. Their performance at the shows annual event rocked the house and shocked the crowd of over 8000.

"We have been fortunate to win a few of the local battle of the bands, but we feel music is universal and should not be a competition. Our goal is performing and to reach as many people as we possibly can at a local level, and continue on our journey nationally", quotes the band.

Ian, Angela, Mike and Ricky's passion for music and performing is evident when you experience one of their live performances. Don't miss them if you get the chance....
