Injury Clinic
By Angel Cordeiro
Injury Clinic started off the evening with an unplugged set consisting of some covers as well as many of their own songs.
Being that Dockside has never had a live band perform I am sure many customers were not sure what to think. I believe that some people were not impressed, at first, but that was sure to change.
After a 20 minute break Injury Clinic plugged in and began their typical hard-core concert. Having a smaller than normal venue to play they were limited on some of their stage theatrics as well as limited room for the crowd, but that did not slow them down...Joey sang with his shirt pulled over his head, jumped around on a chair, sang the Alphabet Song and Pete performed his amazing drum solo.
Injury Clinic played all night long, besides Dave's few cigarette breaks, with new people coming in to check them out throughout the night and gaining the attention of people who were there just for a drink.
Another short break and they continued on with their hard hitting music, for the loyal and new fans alike.
I hate to say ~ I still had homework to be done and had to leave before the show was over, but we did stay until after 12:00.
