What is Ink-Eyez?
A highly experimental electronic music project created by John Cross, a 19 year old musician from Richmond, VA.
Drawing inspirations from paganism, nature, technology, and everyday life - Ink-Eyez sets out to create a unique soundscape that is at times unpredictable and can even be described as bipolar.
John started the project in 2004 under the name ~Anubis~, but in mid 2005 changed due to the overwhelming usage of the name.
The name Ink-Eyez is a euphamism for "seeing the world through blackened (or with so much blood that it appears black, i.e Ink) eyes" - one who is beaten down, at the bottom and with nowhere left to go.
