In Love & War

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Luke, and a girl named Koi. They grew up just 200 miles apart on the east coast, never knowing about the other's existence. They loved, they lost, and they sang about it...and then, they each journeyed west in 2004 to sing about it some more. But it wasn't until ten years later that they would finally meet in the City of Angels, at which point they instantly realized the mutual songs in their hearts could change the world...and thus, IN LOVE & WAR was born, to bring soaring melodies, lush harmonies, meaningful lyrics, and sheer beauty back into music. 

With an entirely original sound that fans are calling "the best since the late 1960s," IN LOVE & WAR is a duo featuring Luke Reilly on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, and Koi Anunta on backing vocals and electric violin. Their memorable, well-developed songwriting capitalizes on the wealth of their decades of shared professional musical experiences, which includes years spent fronting other bands in a variety of genres, and live and studio session work for the likes of Macy Gray, Adam Lambert, Tom MacLear (Rod Stewart, Annie Lennox), Kevin Irving (Dr. Dre), and Stacy Heydon (David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Michael Eston). All this, combined with their insatiable passion for music and performance, translates into a tremendous stage presence and energy that belies the fact of their being a duo...and thus, the epic live experience that is IN LOVE & WAR has been captivating audiences of all ages since the band's inception. 

As one of the hardest working bands in the industry, IN LOVE & WAR has already recorded a live 3-song EP, 5 live music videos, and played half a dozen shows just in its first month of being. With an upcoming west coast tour in the works, IN LOVE & WAR will soon be coming to a city near you!
