In 2010 singer songwriter began a solo project to combine his past rock experience with his strong bluegrass roots. After writing the first half of the Box Dog Album Zach enlisted former band-mates Jacob Zurita and Levi Schmidt. The three members would later call in friend and former Rosie and the Beef Patties drummer Will Bryant to play keyboard, drums, and occasionally guitar. The band quickly gained a following as people have started to crave a primal connection with their roots.
