Live and Dynamic Electro Funk, Dub, Drum & Bass outfit Innereyefull from London & Cornwall UK create a pioneering sound, blending highly energetic beats and electronic componentry with live percussion, polyphonic effected guitar licks, stomping bass and smoky, deep vocals. Innereyefull truly are a force majeure.
Originally founded by DJ, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist Andy Kent in 2005 in Acton West London, Andy moved to Cornwall and Innereyefull went from being a solo outfit to a five piece band. Experimenting with a vast array of techniques and equipment, Andy succeeds in creating some truly brilliant, and highly energetic soundscapes.
Andy started out as a DJ on the party scene in London during the 80’s before moving on to making his own music. He has built his foundation on Funk, Dub, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass and Breakbeat and has worked alongside artists including Afro Celt Soundsystem and Ashley Slater of Freak Power.
Alongside Andy is vocalist Giles Boulton who comes from a wide musical heritage including Psy-Electro outfit Astralasia and is the founding member of The Land Band, Dubblecross & Mendy. With his unique deep & smooth vocals, Giles believes is that music is one of the most powerful tools at mankinds disposal and that it should be used to unite and uplift with a positive message.
On guitar is Giles Woolley who pulls out all the stops to create multi layered sound-scapes and powerful electric lead elements. Often mistaken for synth instruments, some of the sounds created are truly awesome.
Thunderous basslines from Andy Davey provide a solid dub undercurrent with dynamic rhythm and elements of funk & soul.
Providing a rich pallete of live percussive elements, Steve Brooks is no stranger to the stage. Coming from a rich musical heritage with names including Bill Wyman & Derek Watkins, nothing fazes his seemingly relaxed approachto create eclectic percussive arrangements.
