Great stuff!

That you should check out ... very good stuff ...

SAY GOOD NIGHT FOREVER

INSIDE IT FAILED

The year 2006 marked the moment when the band INSIDE IT FAILED appeared on the scene. Since then, Canadians have worked hard to develop its position in the scene. In addition to a consistent live presence, it is now possible to bring the first full length album at the start.

The disc goes by the name of a little hopeful, "Say goodnight forever" and contains 11 tracks. The quartet from the fascinating land north of the United States has convinced me personally at the first hearing the album. Since this is a different CD's to time in my player ...

The material published in July 2011 has only just made it all the way across the pond up on my desk ... better late than never.

Thanks to a growing professional support from a management should increase the media presence of the four men in the coming months and years, long trips are now definitely been on and in the interview (see our appropriate category) told me singer Doc Kohler, that could be expected in Germany in the foreseeable future with the band.

I would find's great because the muscular music I can imagine vividly on an appropriate concert. The times more melodic, and then angry-angry voice of Doc Kohler Daryl Davidson incisive guitars, bass to the board of walnut and finally ends the power of drums drummer Berkley Mac Donald. All this makes the strength of the band.

Because it's actually pretty sad that it has served only to about half an hour of material on this album, but I'm sure the 4 musicians have a lot in store with which you will rejoice in the future. Let's hope only once on a tour where we get the energy-charged songs from INSIDE IT FAILED cut around the ears. I were here!

Absolutely you should anchecken this band, if you hard Mucke is attached, but without losing sight of the melody here ...

And here's the interview with the singer: http://www.heavy-metal.de/?id=20789

"Interview with Doc Kohler (By Amir Djawadi, Germany)"

Great new stuff

Here´s what frontman Doc Kohler has to say...

INSIDE IT FAILED

Hooking up with Doc Kohler, the singer of this great band and hearing about the new album and the coinciding plans...

1. How do you feel with the release of your new album?
We feel extremely accomplished! None of us have ever held a cd we could all be this proud of and it’s because we didn’t cheap out on production value, we took our time, and made the right choices to get it in everyones ears. To this day I can’t believe how big the album sounds and how big it sounds on the radio/media.

2. How would you describe your approach to write/record this album, after the release of previous material (Which I don´t know unfortunately!)?
This one was done properly. Me (Doc) and Brett have a lot of experience in studio work and producing so we chose to do the first few recordings in our home studio’s just to get our music out there. We were also testing our fan base to see what people liked about us. Finally some time passed where people started wondering when we’d release an "official" full length album people could get their hands on. We decided if we were going to go pro, it would have to be with someone who really knew what we were after and wouldn’t try to change us.

3. What are the certain parts, that the different band members contributed to the album (Lyrics, music etc.) and how do you decide, who does which part?
Most of our song ideas start with a riff that any of the band members want to contribute. We’re very open to each others ideas which makes it unique sounding. I will write all the lyrics, on top of the music, but I will always ask the band what they think works and doesn’t as I’m writing them and vice versa with them when they write the music.

4. Where do you see yourself with the band in 2012? Are you satisfied with your "career" so far and what do you expect from the upcoming years?
2012 started off fairly slow for us. We just came back from a cross Canada tour and decided to recuperate and write more material in the mean time. We’re happy with our reaction from people! People don’t have to say things to be nice anymore with all of the music out there, but when they do, it’s usually something incredibly flattering. In the coming late summer IIF is planning to tour a lot more and make another hit across Canada including the U.S. After that, I hope we can go back and write another album with Dave.

5. What would you consider the "driving force", that keeps you going on with what you do (as it cannot be money yet, right!?)? I believe, you cannot live from the music yet - what do you do to earn your money for a living?
We get by on side jobs and work hard on putting all our money from those jobs into the band. However, we found that on the road it’s extremely important to have merchandise and a good product to sell. Our driving force is the feeling of playing on stage to material you’ve created. That’s truly the best revenge, the best sense of accomplishment and better than any sex you’ll ever feel hehehe ;)

6. How would you describe your music to people, that never heard of you? In other words: why should somebody listen to your CD? (I heard about you via a friend spreading the word through Facebook!)
I’d describe our music mostly as powerful and groovy. I say powerful because there are certain parts in songs that involve deep riffs and screaming, where other parts involve a lot of head bobbing groove riffs that make people want to dance.

7. Are there any chances to have you on tour in Germany any time soon?
I would love to soon! There has been talk of us playing in Germany a few times now. I’m a huge fan of the RoK Fabric club! I think Germany would eat us up alive! I went to a few concerts there to some bands that performed from across the world and they weren’t the greatest. I couldn’t imagine what peoples reactions will be over there, but I’m sure they’ll love it! I predict a trip to Germany - http://www.heavy-metal.de/

Former Airdrie resident Doc Kohler has come a long way in four years.

The former Bert Church High School student moved from Airdrie to Vancouver four years ago, where he started up his metal band, Inside it Failed, which includes Daryl Davidson on guitar, Brett Nussbaum on bass, and Berkley MacDonald on drums.

This month, the band is embarking on a western Canada tour to promote their first full-length album.

"We started off really, really quick in the industry," Kohler said. "We gained a large fan base really quick."

Kohler sings lead vocals for Inside it Failed, and said he is encouraged by the group's success to date.

"It just shows that there's lots of artists that can be very successful and can sprout from a small place like Airdrie," he said. "It's great to see that artists like me … can actually survive and get out there and do it, and I really encourage everybody else to do it."

The group's album, titled Say Goodnight Forever, is set for release July 23. While the band has been working with management companies Higher Ground Productions and Shameless Indestructible 'Ntertainment, they have not yet joined with a record label.

"We're unsigned on purpose," Kohler said. "We're waiting for the right major label to hop on with our management team, and we're working that out right now."

The group's album contains 11 original songs written by the band. Kohler said the album is "packed with complete melodic power," and reflects on things like lust, drugs, fantasy and betrayal.

"It opens up a world of heavier music in a pop-ruled industry," he said. "This album has been a long time coming, so we're doing it not only for us, but we're bringing back the good old days before rock music lost its fortitude."

Inside it Failed will be kicking off their tour July 22. Their tour cities include Kamloops, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Sylvan Lake.

They will be playing at Vern's in Calgary July 27.

For more information on the band, and to listen to singles from the album, visit insideitfailed.com. The group can also be found on Facebook.

Bio

Forged by four driven musicians in the heart of Vancouver Canada, Inside It Failed has exploded onto the hard rock / metal scene with a sound and presence that boldly commands the attention of fans and industry executives alike.

"Say Goodnight Forever", the bands proudly self-released debut album, has set the stage for success as they entertain both FM radio and online audiences. The album was released July 23rd, 2011 under the talented charge of producer and engineer, Dave Ottoson (Noise Therapy, Callahan, Destineak) at Fleetwood Sound Studios. Standout tracks "Bleeding Sun" and Garbage" (featuring Ken Goode), make this Inside It Failed's most dynamic and enigmatic work to date.

The band has turned heads to the stage with some of Canadas finest including Bif Naked, Armchair Cynics, and The Thick of It. Numerous successful shows, throughout their Western Canadian, Cross-Canada Tours, and United States Tours have established a national fan base with whom they keep in touch via well-maintained social media networks.

Inside it failed has now completed advanced artist developement programs with an aggressive, new business plan for 2014. The guys have already begun pre-production and tour planning. Armed with a professionally edited video EPK, as well as having multiple funding applications submitted and festival requests - the band's collective confidence is at an all-time high. After all that, plans to have them re-enter the studio to record a follow-up second full length album are in the works (currently being written) along with oversea's touring and local touring in site, which will top off another successful year.

Stay tuned for details on your next opportunity to experience Inside It Failed at a show or festival near you!
