Bio

Tim Frick and brother/former band mate, Ben, forged Inside Out back in December of 1990.

Inside Out's first, self-titled album, released in 1993, sold over 2500 copies in the U.S. and overseas, garnering attention from popular magazines Kerrang!, Frontiers, and Burrn. A collection of twelve songs, this was the band's first foray into the international music scene.

Inside Out's second album, "Seasons," released in 1996, was an impressive follow up, outselling their first release in far less time, 3000-plus. Along with exceptional sales, it received more attention from national magazines, including a generous write-up in, Metal Edge. This is where the modern rock sound of the band was cultivated.

Inside Out landed a distribution deal with Indie label, Pulse Records & Distribution, for both albums to be sold worldwide. The band's albums have been seen on eBay selling from as far away as Japan & Brazil.

With album sales in excess of 6000, a dedicated & hardcore fan base and popularity within renowned musical publications, the band reached a status in which they were able to play alongside numerous national acts such as Jackyl & .38 Special. One of the many highlights include when they opened up for Kansas at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a sold out audience of 17,000 fans. The band toured all up and down the east coast as far out as Key West, Florida and ventured out west leaving no venue intact.

Since then, the band has had various lineup changes throughout its course, bringing us today's Inside Out as Tim Frick, Kolt Green, Larry Philip and Mark Gindlesperger.

The most recent release was 1998's "Disco/Old Man's Pride," which was a promotional single. Combining more instrumentality and expanding their lyrical breadth, the release is a taste of a band that has much more to offer.

Currently, the band is in the studio recording their third, full-length CD. A collection of songs with a totally new and harder rocking sound that is sure to satisfy the hunger of true I/O fans and give birth to a whole generation of new ones.
