Bio

No, life doesn't suck, life isn't hard, we don't like death or Satan and we are not obsessed with fire or burning things (ie. not Emo, not Cliché evil metal satanists, and not Arsonists). We are however a hard hitting metal act from Brisbane, Australia, who play metal because we love metal.

Insinner hit the Brisbane metal scene in 2006 to a great reception. We played show after show in our local area before finally hitting the big metal clubs in Brisbane City, playing shows like the regular Wednesday night "Inferno's". We quickly worked our way up to playing on Saturday nights at Club Phoenix before being aired on TV with bands such as One Way Down and Tornasunder at the Jubilee Hotel.

We took a year's break to work on our EP and to re-create our sound and image. We wanted something that would appeal to all metal lovers out there (Our future EP), and we wanted to look the part (Get the ladies).

When the time came we finally began production on the EP in July 2008 with Producer James North for an early 2009 release. Production with James involved a whole lot of rewriting music, the attempted capture of a turkey, recording tracks, hamburgers, tweaking mixes and Battered Flake. The resulting EP fulfilled all of our expectations.

Our sound has vastly improved and has taken a brand new direction. We aim to please lovers of progressive and technical metal with our odd time changes and crazy riffs and leads, but at the same time appeal to the more "mainstream" metal market with catchy riffs and thundering breakdowns.

And here we are, making our way back on the scene, headlining our Welcome back show.

We are influenced by bands such as:
Children of Bodom
Dream Theater
The Dillinger Escape Plan
Between the buried and me
Every Time I Die
