"Isabel Aimee and Inspiriton at the hope and anchor."

Isabel Aimee and Inspiriton at the hope and anchor.

As the conclusion to a night of juvenile indie rock, Inspirition provided the perfect antidote with their craft of beautifully woven songs of soothing operatic magnitude. The moment Isabel took to the stage in her strikingly beautiful green evening dress, reminiscent of a night at the opera in the stylish thirties, the audience was spellbound, listening to her classically flawless voice, embued with a passion that must come from heartfelt experience.

Tonight Isabel was accompanied by Gren Fraser only (usually they perform as a five piece) but it proved to just the right measure for the intimate settings of the hope and anchor and together they created touching soundsculptures of emotional beauty.

review by Klaus von Kirsche" Hope and Anchor, London 29th August 2008 INSPIRITION grew together over the last two years. Isabel found Gren, he found Andy and Charlie through his work as music consultant. The happy family regularly exchange instruments and play completely new styles over old songs- for fun. We stretch ourselves; Isabel spins all the melodies and lyrics, Charlie and Andy enjoy a magnificent rythmic bond and Gren fills up the chords and tinkly bits... we have been described as rock/classical hybrid, and we squeeze in a whole bundle more influences in there too. We are all sex mad- (or at least we joke that we are) so the music is sensual, driving or dreamy.Charlie recorded at Real World at 16 proved his Dj skills n Ibiza, Isabel won her first singing comp. at 4 and is an accomplished classical and jazz singer and Gren had hits with Lion and Elias Hulk many a year ago before he went "tame", strung his guitar behind his neck and now plays keys. Andy was told to master guitar (which he did) before his dad bought him a bass. INSPIRITION have played at London's Barfly, Ashton Court, Chantmarle, Bowood, Sturminster Exchange, Paignton. We master our tracks at Optimum, are beloved by musicians, enjoy radio play on twelve stations and all this after two months promotion. Together
we have 70 years of music experience: INSPIRITION is the pot into which we all poured our talent. Record companies (One Little Indian) are interested, our gigs are starting to roll in- because we never were a pub band. We have a sound for millions.
