"Uber Rock, UK"

“Arizona's Instant Hobo is in the saddle and riding a beauty with 'Honey The Horse'. The second offering from the alt-country trio takes a traditional style then smothers it with helpings of borrowed inspiration from various others. Herein lies the heart of stripped-back hard rock with the treble turned all the way to country while spinning tales of a humorous nature. The adventure kicks off with the rollicking 'Rock Island Rocket' which hammers down the dusty track with frantic purpose, where sweetened guitar licks are cruising freely on the back of a whirlwind of energised drumming. From the off, open sound and almost fluid nature of the compositions might allow the listener to sit back and enjoy the ride; but it is not long before you realise this is no straightforward journey. According to front-man/horse John Feula, there may be "no room for pie", but there is certainly room for Instant Hobo's home brew of quirky Americana. ”

"Arizona Republic"

"No, they aren't itinerant rail-riders stopping in town just long enough to steal a hot apple pie off a windowsill. This alt-country power trio just wanders all over the musical map, melding classic rock power with Hank Williams twang and a perverse sense of humor."
- Michael Senft, Arizona Republic - Arizona Republic

"Metalville, UK"

“A three piece from the USA – where else with a cool *ss name like that--who are based in Arizona. Good ole country sounds – think ‘The Dukes Of Hazzard’ and then some… on this awesome 11 tracker with sped on tonkin’ barn dancing groovers like the opening ‘Rock Island Rocket’ and the serious sounding jiggery and folkiness of ‘Witch O’er The Water’ or the humour of ‘No Room For Pie' and ‘Honey The Horse’. Love It! 10/10 ” - Metalville

"Pop Rocket, Prescott AZ"

“With some great country song lyrics like “on the ground floor of a two story outhouse, why ain’t love ever fair,” Nashville should be all over these guys. Dirt Roads & Detours aptly describes what real country music should be. A wide range of front porch stories appreciated and retold for the neighborhood’s enjoyment.” - Pop Rocket
