In Stereo formed in november of 2008. songwriter Gary Stitt met up with guitar player Bret Killoran and bass player Jason Sulyma during their college days while enrolled in the same program (Music Industry Arts). They boys were eager to form a pop/rock/alternative band but still needed to make a couple of additions. Drummer A.J Pinsonneault had been in a band with Gary for 6 years prior to Gary's move to London, so naturally it only made sense to convince A.J to move up to London. Still missing something, In Stereo decided to add a rhythm guitar player into the mix. Carmine Scandale (friend and former lead vocalist of a band out of Windsor, Ontario) had just moved up to London for school and was quickly approached about joining the band.
The music created by the band is shown heavily through their influences. The Beatles, Queen, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, U2, Cold Play, Oasis, Keane and any person, place or thing that distinctively creates an impression on the band.
In Stereo's sense of Melody, appetite for adventure, Clever lyrics, intelligent musicianship and beautiful dynamics set them apart from your average rock band. This is all Captured using Piano, Bass, Guitar, Drums, Vocals and a touch of strings.
