Sonic playroom. Full of spirits in the note, [integer] brings forth an allure of fresh air in the musical landscape of the times. The band brings influences from all walks of life. In the intrigue of the music the band moves forward...

[integer]'s beginning was quite a conundrum. From the beginning, singer/songwriter [lucid], set out to create something a little different. With an immense respect for anything musical and the propensity to oppose genre categorizing, [lucid] sought to explore the diversity of modern sounds. Influenced by classic rock, alternative rock, R&B, hip hop, electronic and Latin influences.

[integer] launched in 2005, soon after [lucid] joined forces with bassist [el oni], [mr Ee], and drummer [ra]. [el oni], who was born on Latin grounds and raised in the U.S., brings forth bass lines influenced by modern jazz, classic rock and heavy metal. His funky melodies and rocking slap grooves give [integer] that low end sound that Miami is famous for. Drummer [ra] brings fourth solid rhythms and grooves influenced by blues, rock and grunge. His multi-instrument ability and the ability to rock the drums in compliment to the band's use of programmed drums, allow the band to experiment with the versatility of different grooves, melodies and tempos.

The addition of rhythm guitarist [mr Ee], whose long line of family artists inspired his artistic endeavors. With his three continent lineage and musical influences just as diverse, his bass inspired guitar riffs ensure the band never lacks flavor. As the band continued to seek out the remaining members, they began writing and recording.

After a couple of months of writing, the band welcomed lead guitarist [kev] to the line up. Also hailing from Miami, [kev]'s leads found their place in the equation. His addition made [integer]'s sound come up to par with the envisioned project. Now all that was missing was the programmer/keys.

After finalizing some compositions, [integer] set out to play local shows. Up to this point, the synth and drums programming duties were solely on [lucid] and [ra]'s hands. Their drive to use different musical elements in each arrangement is an element that brings more color to the sound.

Soon after playing a handful of shows, [integer] recruited electronic artist [di gee]. Yet another Florida native, his percussion influences bring the extra element that [lucid] so imagined.

After a couple of months in the studio, the band and lead guitarist Kevin Pineiro went their separate ways. [Raf] joined the band soon thereafter. His addition to the band put them back on track.
