International Generation

International Generation is a reality conscious, roots reggae band. Our mission is to create a more conscious society through music. We aim to represent and enlighten every ethnic group by healing the nations with positive vibrations and unity. The band, known for their electric live shows, has performed with members of the legendary group The Skatalites, such as Cedric Brooks and Kevin Batchelor. They have played in front of many diverse audiences in the New York metro area, Philadelphia, and several other places in the Northeast region. International Generation started evolving approximately four years ago. It began when lead vocalists, IG and Natty Faithful, two lyrically inclined Rastafarians from Jamaica began this righteous movement, blessing open mic jam sessions at a popular local venue in Nyack, NY. Through these jam sessions, other local like minded musicians contributed to the musical foundation of the group, such as Joe Domingo on drums, Jason Lovullo on bass, Francis “Killa” Miller on guitar and Haitian born Sheik Ali-X a.k.a. the peaceambassada also on guitar, who later joined through friends of the band taking the role as lead guitarist. The goal of International Generation is to deliver consciousness through music while promoting acceptance of people of all nations while knowing that we are all positive creations co-existing in the world that we live in, which is ours to keep and to protect. Living each day as if it were your last, allowing the truth to set you free.
