INTERVENOM – between iggy and saturn, between rotten and slash, between prodigy and pro-active, between skin and voltage, between brain and bash, between lust and thrust; techno-metal, high kick snarl drum bass ultimatum; ear-cracking, eye-lashing sense tricking, electro-groove at the edge of reason; opening the door between the mind and the outside world.
- Paul Morley: author of Words and Music: a history of pop in the shape of a city.
Curtis reviewed IV's song, "The One" and he talks about 3 key areas that every music professional listens for in a song: Originality, Marketability and the Lead Vocals.
Originality...
"This track represents one of the most exciting realizations of a sound of the computer/mechanical age I've come across."
Marketability...
"Dance music is evergreen and this
track reflects enough current trends to turn heads at several A&R offices, if not Publishing Execs. Licensing of the track should be simple given the current sounds that abound."
Lead Vocals...
"The vocal production is machine metal enough to echo the mechanics of the post-industrial age and the booty shaking beat
underneath is relentless, giving the vocal all the emotional support it
needs to get all the way into the listeners' skull."
- Curtis Lowell: Make A Star.com

WOW!!!! I am so impressed.
It's a funky fresh sound, you want to rock out but you want to bust a move on the dance floor all at once.
The show at the Underground was awsome, excellent stage show and a wicked sound. Its nice to hear music that every other word isn't a racial slur or something negative towards a formal lady. Kick ass, vocals, can't wait to hear more.

I believe that "Immune" would be an exelent score-track in a hard core scene in a Action movie where dude goes "off" And deff. worthy of much airplay on the radio. Great work. I swear i listened to it over n over for 2 hrs str8 no lie. ~peace~

At first I wasn't sure where the song was going to go, then suddenly the instruments start and it works really well. When it slows down and builds back up again the vocals sound great. Strong points would definately be the buildups, and the vocals working well with the music. The track is well mixed.

I agree that the intro works well and gives the song some of the power it needs. Fits well with the music. The break, and the drum beat leading back up works well too. Good work.

wow, this is really good industrial/metal. I absolutely love the chorus, it has everything in it you'd need for a hit, it's memorable and powerful and well done. The songs major weakness is simply the production values, which really sound muffled; but that may have to wait until you hit it big time. Live, I bet this song absolutely kicks ass. Great tune!

REVIEWCREW: i could listen to IV everyday!!! Yet another great track, as any IV fan would expect!! especially done from ones bedroom!!! I like the tortured sounding vox an the intro. "i know why you're here, i know why you're here" and "i don't like you here, i don't like you here, i don't like you here"....those two parts remind me of "you're are the one, the one, the one, the one". if you know what i mean by that. not that the songs sound alike!!! i'll shut up now!!! >< hehee!!! a definate MUST LISTEN!!!

Biography
TbOnZ previously created, organized and led the Canadian aggro-metal band, Human Disorder. Immediately after their independent debut release "Twisted Sane" in 1998, Human Disorder signed a recording contract with Ruptured Discs (owned by Blue Summit Records USA) and in 1999 the bands sophomore effort, Ugly Modern Aggression was released and became an underground success in the States.
Human Disorder earned over 1700 spins at hard block commercial and college radio! The band roared through three national tours (clubs, theatres, and festivals), totaling over 300 shows in the US and Canada. After 18 months of touring and hard work, the label announced it had to close its doors. The band decided to go their separate ways and in April 2001 they played their final show.
Picking up where he left off, TbOnZ set straight out to achieve his new vision - to create and produce InterVenom.
Recently acquired band menbers; Steph Przybysz (drums), Keith Gillam (bass), Brian MacPhee (DJ) and Angelo Cimino (guitar), complete the line up. They're all great musicians with definitive characteristics and are all captivating to watch perform.
InterVenom is currently performing live, having performed over 30 shows with the current line up. They are now writing together and will have enough material to go into the studio, by the end of Summer 2006.
