"Handclap Movement"

“this band is set for large, large arenas. Really the fact that is a debut single is frightening, as I’m not sure really how to top this brilliance.” - Handclap Movement

"Right Chord Music"

“We love everything about it. The impassioned falsetto vocals, the dreamy production, the stunning video and the beautiful artwork. This isn’t so much the first signs of love but a Glen Close style obsession.” - Right Chord Music

"Sound of Confusion"

“a smouldering character and a powerful yet slow impact, more like the unstoppable rising tide than a flood deluge, ‘Water’ is quietly impressive.” - Sound of Confusion

"Tom Robinson Favourites"

“emotionally charged, intelligent… file alongside fellow Oxfordites Foals” - BBC's Tom Robinson blog

"Killing Moon"

“[they] definitely know how to pen a thuddingly good indie guitar tune” - Killing Moon

SINGLE - Water - October 2012

We are INTRVALS, an alt-indie quartet from Oxford (via London). We formed late last year and we’ve released one song. We’ve played one gig. We’re not very good at spelling.

The song was called ‘Water’ which you can listen to here: We sent it to a couple of blogs who seemed to like it, especially the Russian ones. It was likened to Foals and called “emotionally charged and intelligent” by the BBC. They must have overlooked how bad we are at spelling.

Since then, we’ve recorded a 4 track EP (due for release in March) and focused all our energy on perfecting our live show, in a particularly dank corner of Camden. Our drummer has even bought in-ear monitors. This shit got serious.

We've trucked along the festival circuit before in previous bands, notable highlights including Snowbombing in Austria, and who can forget Nozstock 2011?! We'd love to add the Great Escape to the list in 2013.
