Saturday, the third day of the 2007 FMF, started out so early even some teens couldn't make it out of bed early enough to see the all-ages shows at BackBooth and AKA Lounge, nevermind anyone who'd been attending the festival throughout. Most of the bands made you think emo-screamo, but In Violent Times, while having a similar feel to My Chemical Romance, showed that a vocalist can sing live and not sound like he's an angry teenager yodeling.

IN VIOLENT TIMES formed in 2007, is a five piece rock band from Orlando, Florida. Spawned from the ashes of other prominent Florida bands John, Jason, Peter, Bennett and Brian have come together to form what is now "IN VIOLENT TIMES". In April of 2007 they were fortunate to hook up with producer BRETT HESTAL( lead singer of such bands DARK new DAY & Vergos Merlot) and aslo produced such bands as Framing Hanley and Signum A.D. After spending about 2 years working on their debut album, IVT releases “Goodbye,” She Said. On November 21st. 2008. With their takes on catchy hooks, full fledge sing-a-longs, and lyrics that you cant help but sing. IN VIOLENT TIMES has gathered quite a bit of attention around Florida. IVT is well on their way to expanding into other regions (but only with the help of dedicated listeners like you of course!) with and amazing live show and a passion for success IN VIOLENT TIMES will be a band to keep and eye on in 2009
