Bio

Invisible Inc. has been a long time coming. Using an innovative combination of live horns, laptop looping, emceeing, talkbox and more, Invisible Inc. brings no bullshit hip hop and jazz together.

Lead emcee George Watsky, a National Poetry Slam champion and veteran of Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry on HBO, has opened for Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Matisyahu, Lyfe Jennings, Bonnie Raitt, Michael Franti, and Me'shell Ndegeocello.

Watsky delivers razor-sharp wordplay, intellectually hip humor and an electrifying stage presence together with the ocassional harmonica solo.

Beatmaker/trumpeter/keyboard player and emcee Max Miller-Loran is a Berklee College of Music trained musician and a veteran of the Stanford Jazz Workshop. He was a member of the prestigious Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble of San Francisco and composed a tune on their debut release, "LJYE Live at Yoshi's."

Miller-Loran has performed at the San Jose Jazz Festival, Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, Rassela's Jazz Club and the world-famous Yoshi's jazz club. His solos have been featured on the Bay Area's Jazz Station 99.1 KCSM.

Producer/beatsmith/flutist/bass player and talkbox master Daniel Riera received a merit scholarship to attend Boston's Berklee College of Music where he was selected into the competitive Music Synthesis program. As a composer and performer his work has been featured at the San Francisco Jazz Festival and the San Jose Jazz Festival. He was named a Young Jazz Composer by the Association of Songwriters, Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) Foundation in 2004 in a juried national competition.

Fluent in jazz, Latin jazz, hip-hop as well as classical music, Riera was an original member of the Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble of San Francisco. As a flutist, he performed on their critically acclaimed 2006 release, "LJYE Live at Yoshi's." He contributed two compositions to the CD which was recorded at the internationally renown jazz club.

The boundary-bending band formed with the 2007 release of their self-titled CD, 'Invisible Inc.' Their album, selected as a "staff pick" at the legendary Amoeba Music on San Francisco's Haight Street has been turning ears out. Fans can also purchase the CD at Virgin Record stores, Rasputin Records, and online at www.cdbaby.com.

Working with gospel sensation Passion, DJ Funklor, jazz great Bennett Paster and others, Invisible Inc. combines a solid studio effort with a big, fat, live show that packs both a musical and visual punch.
