Bio
The music of ione angeles is a powerful blend of Conscious lyrics and strong grooves that take the listener through many soundscapes. Her smooth voice (Think Sade, Edie Brickell) has a strength and conviction that is emphasized by her 6ft tall, long dreadlocked hair appearance and dancing stage performance. Her international appeal and sound stems from her World travels, living in Jamaica, The Netherlands, England, and Turkey, as well as her home state of California. Her powerful band is rooted in Reggae, Jazz, Funk, and they bring the technique and energy to create a dynamic fusion of groove and expertise.
